Job Description
Airbnb procurement leader optimizing supplier onboarding, risk, and technology programs. Driving supplier experience, compliance, transformation, and cross-functional program execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the supplier onboarding process, including tools, orchestration, and support for cross-functional onboarding operations
- Provide expertise and optimize supplier programs, including supplier risk oversight and critical supplier programs with the Sourcing team
- Develop process improvement recommendations based on procurement practices
- Enhance supplier experience through transformational initiatives aligned with stakeholder needs while mitigating risk
- Oversee and maintain supplier onboarding programs
- Monitor supplier compliance, operational health, improvements, progress, barriers, risks, and benefits
- Collaborate with teams on supplier risk management requirements and system and operational enhancements
- Manage project execution and tool implementation
- Provide subject matter expertise in source-to-pay, supplier risk management, regulatory assessment, procurement technology, and procurement transformation
Requirements:
- Degree or advanced degree in business, finance, supply chain or related fields
- 8+ years of experience managing procurement programs and/or leading preferred supplier programs
- Experience managing supplier onboarding and risk management tools and processes
- Expertise in implementing enterprise-wide systems
- Experience using data, automation, or AI tools to support decision-making
- Skilled in building relationships in a cross-functional environment and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Highly analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
- Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
