Job Description
Sales Specialist managing medical products sales and account penetration for healthcare facilities across the US. Role involves customer support, product demonstrations, and sales reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Help establish new hospital and surgery center accounts and increase current account penetration.
- Travels throughout US to call on and support Sales Managers with prospective customers to promote all medical products and solicit orders.
- Assist during demonstrations of products, using samples, and emphasize salable features.
- Assist with quotes pricing for future business and orders obtained.
- Assist with estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
- Assist with problems that arise with customer's (Hospital, Surgery Center, Independent Sales Agents) accounts.
- Assist with reports of business transactions.
- Assist with territorial sales forecasts at intervals directed by Sales Leadership.
- Assist all business transactions in an ethical and moral manner.
- Assist with the completion of all reporting requirements in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Typically 2 to 4 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of applicable professional experience.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
- Good understanding of industry practices.
- Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures.
- Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques.
- Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Basic conflict resolution skills.
- Developing professional credibility.
