Job Description
Sales Specialist executing Group & Business Travel segments for Midscale Hotels. Managing sales funnel and client interactions to drive hotel revenue and conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on the execution of the Group & Business Travel segments for a portfolio of Midscale Hotels
- Manage a sales funnel at multiple Midscale properties daily
- Receive leads from many different sources and create proposals
- Interact with clients to respond in a beneficial way
- Responsible for Cvent Lanyon RFP Management and Rate Loading
- Utilize Envision and other sales tools to promptly respond to leads
Requirements:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and presentation skills
- Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
- Must be outgoing and a proven self-starter
- A minimum of 2-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Envision, Opera, and Cvent
