Job Description
AVP Commercial Credit Officer II performing complex credit analysis and financial reviews for new and existing loan requests. Collaborating with sales and internal teams to ensure effective credit risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes financial statements on complex credit requests to assess credit risk
- Works with salesperson to structure loan requests
- Conducts borrower interviews with applicants or designated third parties
- Collects required credit information for underwriting loan and lease requests
- Generates credit memorandums with detailed financial analysis
- Maintains accurate and complete loan files
- Develops working partnerships with sales and internal teams to handle credit analysis issues
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- 5 years of commercial credit analysis or fleet/equipment leasing experience
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of traditional financial analysis
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills to meet loan committee deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong presentation skills
- Team player, able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
