Job Description

Corporate development executive leading M&A, capital strategy, and integration for PureSky Energy. Driving community solar, distributed generation, and energy storage expansion across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as key advisor to the CEO and Board on growth roadmaps, capital allocation, consolidation trends, and strategic financing alternatives
  • Lead end-to-end M&A activities, including transaction sourcing, diligence, financial valuation, contract negotiations, structuring, and closing
  • Build and maintain multi-year capital deployment models
  • Evaluate corporate capital raises, joint ventures, preferred equity, tax equity, and growth equity structures
  • Author Board decks, Investment Committee memoranda, and financial models including DCF, IRR, ROIC, and sensitivity analysis
  • Present recommendations to executive leadership, lenders, and investors
  • Source and cultivate partnerships with developers, infrastructure funds, utilities, tax equity providers, lenders, and advisors
  • Assess technical, financial, and regulatory risks across development assets, interconnection queues, PPAs, subscriber portfolios, and BESS
  • Lead post-acquisition integration of acquired platforms, operational teams, and asset portfolios
  • Mentor and grow the corporate development and strategy team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, renewable energy, infrastructure investing, private equity, investment banking, or project finance
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of direct renewable energy transaction experience, with substantial focus on community solar, distributed generation, and energy storage
  • Proven track record leading complex corporate acquisitions, platform roll-ups, portfolio buyouts, and joint ventures within clean energy
  • In-depth expertise in project finance modeling, debt structuring, tax equity, corporate capital raises, and underwriting standards
  • Deep understanding of community solar economics, subscriber acquisition/management models, state-level regulatory programs, interconnection, EPC frameworks, Investment Tax Credits (ITC), and supply chain compliance (including FEOC standards)
  • Extensive experience preparing materials for and presenting to Boards of Directors, Investment Committees, and institutional investors
