Job Description
Remote VP banking consultant supporting Financial Advisors with Raymond James Bank’s private client lending and cash solutions. Driving origination, product education, and growth across Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for Financial Advisors regarding Private Client Banking lending and cash solutions
- Conduct branch visits, branch/FA profiles, FA book reviews, and call reports
- Partner with Financial Advisors to provide financial advice on Private Client Banking products
- Build product awareness among Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants
- Develop and maintain a pipeline to meet loan production and growth goals
- Lead marketing, training, and education efforts for Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants
- Partner with home-office product teams on Cash Solutions, Mortgages, Securities Based Lending, Margin, and Structured Lending
- Attend regional conferences and meetings on behalf of RJ Bank
- Analyze the competitive landscape and develop solution strategies
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies with branch management and Financial Advisor teams
- Collaborate with Internal Banking Consultants, Financial Advisors, branch managers, branch staff, product partners, and operations
- Conduct regular team meetings with internal Private Client Banking product fulfillment partners
- Influence strategic direction and develop tactical plans
- Present solutions and advise on client transaction structures or alternatives
- Maintain relationships across all organizational levels
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Proven new business development/origination experience with lending products
- Advanced knowledge of cash solutions, securities based lending (including Margin), mortgages, and structured lending
- Expert knowledge of credit products, including residential mortgage products, securities-based loans, and high-net-worth structured lending products
- Excellent business development and marketing skills
- Strong financial analysis and creditworthiness assessment skills
- Ability to analyze financial/collateral information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to build relationships with Financial Advisors, branch managers, clients, product partners, and Internal Banking Consultants
- Ability to train Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants on the product suite
- Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment
- SIE required unless an exemption or grandfathering applies
- NMLS required
- Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 preferred
- Completion of formal credit training strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing
- 6 to 10 years of general experience
