Job Description

Billing Manager with expert-level QuickBooks proficiency managing billing cycle for federal contracts. Coordinating payment processes and maintaining financial records for a healthcare staffing firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage invoices for government contracts (IHS, VA FSS, etc.)
  • Track and manage Accounts Receivable monthly
  • Perform bank reconciliations and credit line reconciliations
  • Coordinate invoice approval process and obtain required government signatures
  • Manage end-to-end billing workflow for federal contracts
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
  • Generate financial reports and AR aging analysis
  • Ensure compliance with government invoicing requirements (IPP, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Expert-level QuickBooks proficiency (must demonstrate advanced knowledge)
  • 3+ years billing/AR management experience
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes
  • Experience with bank reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
