Job Description
CSAJ seeks nonprofit board members focusing on individual donor development and fundraising initiatives. Candidates will engage with diverse stakeholders to support the agency's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Attend four regular board meetings and other special meetings as necessary.
- Actively participate in one or more board committees
- Play an active role in fundraising
- Serve as an enthusiastic spokesperson for CSAJ’s mission and programs
- Read and understand financial statements to help fulfill fiduciary responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Interest in individual donor development and foundation/corporate fundraising
- Experience in nonprofit or for-profit sectors
- Willingness to support CSAJ’s mission and initiatives
- Knowledge of CSAJ’s programs and issues facing survivors of domestic and sexual violence
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion, especially towards BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.
