Job Description
Business Analyst leading Oracle Cloud ERP implementation across manufacturing, quality, costing, and planning. Supporting Taylor Corporation’s print and communications transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation and support of the Schedule to Produce workstream, focused on Manufacturing (Discrete), Quality, Actual Costing, and Demand & Supply Planning modules
- Collaborate across Taylor Business Units to drive streamlined, standardized, and simplified business processes
- Engage in all phases of the system development lifecycle: planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, enhancement, and support
- Manage Oracle application configuration and analyze upstream and downstream impacts
- Troubleshoot ERP functional issues and communicate with business units
- Lead the Quarterly Release process, including functionality testing and sign-off
- Provision application user access
- Gather, analyze, prioritize, and categorize business requirements
- Document and model current-state and future-state business processes
- Organize and facilitate design workshops
- Translate requirements between business areas and IT
- Review technology capabilities and workflows for possible program and system changes
- Prepare time and cost estimates and assist with ROI analysis
- Act as liaison between business end users and IT development teams
- Create use cases, process flows, prototypes, test cases, and test scenarios
- Lead and participate in testing activities, write test scripts, and manage defect tracking and reporting
- Facilitate Oracle Quarterly Release testing and updates across Taylor Business Units
- Train and support Business SMEs through documentation of changes and enhancements
- Provide Level 3 Help Desk support and support integration and workflow error resolution
- Participate in Oracle Cloud projects, Taylor-wide implementations, and organizational design
- Provide organizational change management
- Assist project teams in defining scope, goals, approach, and deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, especially experience leveraging Oracle Cloud technology within Manufacturing, Quality, Costing and Planning
- Ability to be innovative and detail-oriented
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and be a change agent
- Knowledge of designing and constructing business processes and their links to technology
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Organization and project management skills
- Ability to travel 25-35% and possibly more during testing and installs
- Proficiency in Jira and various testing tools
- Experience in waterfall and agile project methodology
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion or related ERP implementations
- Experience engaging offshore teams in a round-the-clock working environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
