Job Description
Insurance risk analyst managing certificates, corporate insurance programs, surety bonds, and casualty claims for Sirva. Supporting underwriting, contracts, accident investigations, and claim resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Issue certificates of insurance for van line operations and client contractual agreements
- Secure required information from van line agents and review third-party insurance requirements
- Partner with the Risk Manager and Sirva legal on indemnity language requests
- Compile and analyze underwriting information for domestic and international insurance policy placements
- Complete applications and maintain and review insurance policy documents
- Support legal, sales, and operations in reviewing insurance terms in client contracts and new business proposals
- Manage the surety bond program, including bond issuances, cancellations, reporting, and invoicing
- Support investigation and documentation of fleet accidents
- Monitor van line auto and general liability claims and identify potential risks
- Collaborate with the TPA claim adjuster and defense counsel on claim strategy and resolution
Requirements:
- BS degree in risk management, business, or finance
- Property/Casualty Insurance Producer license, preferred
- Experience with commercial insurance placements and oversight, claims management, and/or the risk management function
- Detailed-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
