Job Description
Configuration Management Analyst owning Arena PLM data, BOM integrity, and engineering change control. Supporting audit-ready configuration baselines for Revolution Space spacecraft hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Own configuration control in Arena PLM
- Administer item masters, BOMs, revisions, lifecycle phases, and ECOs/ECRs/deviations
- Manage, route, and track engineering change requests and orders through review and approval
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain stakeholders
- Audit part numbers, revisions, and BOM structures and resolve discrepancies
- Support Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board meetings
- Prepare document packages, track action items, publish meeting minutes, and maintain change logs
- Develop and maintain configuration management procedures, work instructions, and naming/numbering conventions aligned with standards such as AS9100
- Support as-designed, as-built, and as-flown configuration baselines for flight and safety-critical hardware
- Train and support engineers, buyers, and production staff on Arena workflows and configuration management processes
- Serve as the go-to resource for PLM questions
- Prepare configuration and change records for audits, customer reviews, and regulatory/compliance inspections
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in configuration management, engineering data management, or a related PLM/document control role
- Bachelors degree in engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience administering Arena PLM with willingness to become an Arena power user quickly
- Solid understanding of configuration management principles, including BOM structures, revision control, change control processes, and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with configuration management standards and practices
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data at scale
- Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders and maintain process discipline
- Hardware/aerospace startup environment strongly preferred
- Experience with data migrations or PLM system implementations preferred
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Familiarity with drawing/model-based definition practices preferred
- Prior experience in satellite, launch vehicle, or space hardware programs preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
