Job Description
Business Development Representative generating outbound sales opportunities for Zyte, a web data extraction technology company. Managing prospect outreach, CRM pipeline, forecasting, and collaboration with distributed sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate outbound prospecting activities through email, phone calls, social media, and networking to generate leads and qualified opportunities.
- Engage strategically important prospects to create meaningful business opportunities.
- Use communication and negotiation skills to secure customer commitment and close deals.
- Maintain detailed CRM records of interactions and sales activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine targeting and optimize outbound campaigns.
- Forecast pipeline and sales activities to meet revenue goals.
- Join virtual meetings and webinars, and occasionally attend industry events when possible.
- Work closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Marketing to lead outbound outreach, manage the sales pipeline, and grow the customer base.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of outbound sales experience, preferably in a remote environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales methodology.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Interest or experience in data extraction, web scraping, or SaaS sales is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams.
- Comfortable using digital communication and collaboration tools.
