Job Description

Cash Application Reconciliation Representative reconciling cash and patient-accounting payments for Overlake medical center. Maintaining deposits, audit data, and patient inquiry follow-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile daily cash to patient accounting systems
  • Maintain bank deposits and payment spreadsheets
  • Maintain data for audit purposes
  • Research and follow up on patient inquiries
  • Perform accounts receivable functions

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years cash posting, reconciliation, or bookkeeping experience required
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance claims processing and third party reimbursement procedures preferred
  • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication, grammar and spelling
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and willingly accept responsibility and accountability
  • Ability to set priorities and use good judgement
  • Washington State residency required
