Job Description
Cohesity seeks a Regional Channel Director to lead strategic partnerships in the emerging region. Focus on channel growth, partner development, and aligning with corporate strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for all Reseller & Distributor activity and to deliver strong growth.
- Lead, manage & develop the Channel sales team.
- Achieve & exceed annual revenue plans and driving accountability to build the Cohesity brand with existing and new partners.
- Transition our business with new Partner relationships focused on Cloud and As-A-Service Routes to market.
- Maintain an understanding of the strategic directions of Cohesity at a corporate & regional level in order to develop & execute an aligned channel strategy.
- Creation and ownership of the Emerging Channel Plan including the effective development of existing partners.
- Achievement of quarterly financial & non-financial targets.
- Engagement with Cohesity channel team, district managers, RVPs, field sales, pre-sales and Marketing, and support teams to execute the plan.
- Ownership of business relationships with key strategic partners.
- Oversee the Emerging teams engagement with Resellers and Distributors to:
- Structure each partner engagement go-to-market strategy
- Influence Partner sales teams to ensure that Cohesity is “front and center” and always included in their collaboration business opportunities.
- Evangelize Cohesity’s solutions to Partners and their customers.
Requirements:
- Strong history in leading a Channel & Alliance business.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
- Experience in the Data resilience and security industry
- Fundamental understanding of the Emerging market.
- Proven experience in a leadership role
- Proven track record of success.
- Ability to influence effectively with key stakeholders.
- Strong customer and partner network.
- Ability to analyse sales data and determine appropriate actions to create desired outcomes.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities with highly effective follow through skills.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
