Job Description
Fractional CMO guiding law firms in strategic marketing and growth to scale from $10M to $30M revenue. Work remotely and provide coaching and accountability to law firm owners in marketing execution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct marketing diagnostics with law firm owners to identify strengths, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Design and guide direct-response marketing strategies that drive measurable client acquisition.
- Help firms develop marketing systems including funnels, calls-to-action, and list-building strategies.
- Evaluate existing marketing campaigns and realign strategies when ROI is not being achieved.
- Coach law firm owners on marketing strategy, execution, and performance improvement.
- Provide constructive feedback when marketing efforts are not producing results.
- Balance encouragement with accountability to ensure agreed-upon actions are implemented.
- Help clients overcome common entrepreneurial mindset challenges such as perfectionism or hesitation.
- Identify and prioritize key marketing KPIs across multiple campaigns.
- Use CRM systems, dashboards, and analytics to track marketing performance.
- Present marketing data in clear, actionable ways that drive better business decisions.
- Lead quarterly strategic reviews with clients and marketing vendors.
- Work closely with internal HTM team members and external marketing vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure alignment with client strategy.
- Facilitate productive discussions when vendors disagree on marketing direction.
Requirements:
- 10+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
- Have served as a CMO, marketing strategist, or senior marketing consultant
- Have experience working with growing service-based businesses
- Enjoy coaching entrepreneurs and business owners
- Are comfortable providing honest, constructive feedback
- Can quickly diagnose marketing challenges and identify root causes
- Thrive in a remote, client-facing leadership role
