Job Description
Chief of Staff supporting the CEO at Orcrist Technologies, managing strategic initiatives and communications in a remote-first environment. Ideal for someone adaptable and proactive with a background in high-performance environments.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Execution and facilitation of strategic meetings, Supporting the CEO with hiring topics
- Communication & Liaison: Acting as the liaison between the CEO/executives and staff, managing communication, and preparing for board meetings
- Decision Support: Providing high-level insight, data analysis, and advice to support decision-making.
- Special Projects & ad-hoc Ownership: Leading ad-hoc, critical projects, such as restructuring, fundraising, or launching new initiatives or workshops.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field from a target university, such as WHU or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g. fast-growth startups, tech scale-ups, VC/PE, investment banking, or similar)
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English (C1+)
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable — comfortable managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A genuine interest in business strategy and growth topics; ability to understand and anticipate leadership needs.
- General Willingness to travel
