Job Description
Client Success Manager growing dealer revenue for Cox Automotive’s Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. Managing major accounts through field consultation, analytics, training, and retention strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand relationships with Cox Automotive’s largest and most complex automotive dealer group clients
- Identify client needs and provide solutions
- Drive client retention and revenue growth through optimization of Autotrader, KBB.com, and Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer products
- Spend the majority of time in the field providing analytics, consultation, and support
- Maximize clients’ return on investment from digital media and software products
- Coordinate Cox Automotive expertise for specific digital media products or software
- Partner with Majors CSM Directors, Client Partners, and the Strategic Account Team on revenue opportunities and account strategy
- Build and grow long-term relationships with dealership and corporate contacts
- Identify whitespace opportunities and grow revenue through connected strategies
- Monitor and analyze product performance, client business trends, and performance trends
- Interpret Cox Automotive reporting and analytics for customers
- Adhere to dealer group rules of engagement
- Train customers on Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book media and software products
- Compile and share customer business and product performance reports
- Prepare client locations for corporate-level product purchases
- Serve as first point of contact for dealer issues and resolve customer and technical concerns
- Contribute to strategic account planning and identify account opportunities and risks
- Manage client progress and results according to account strategy
- Minimize churn on new and existing products
- Determine meeting frequency based on account plans and client needs
- Collaborate with customer support and internal partners to solve problems and improve service
- Learn and incorporate new product offerings
- Identify, coordinate, and support product workshops and in-store training
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field; alternative combinations include a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience, or 10 years’ experience in a related field
- Travel within an assigned sales territory required, up to 75%
- Valid driver’s license required
- Safe driver
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in future
- 2+ years working in an Autotrader Client Solutions Manager capacity preferred
- Previous automotive industry experience strongly preferred
- Previous media or advertising experience, preferably digital, preferred
- Knowledge of competitive landscape, rates, and selling points preferred
- Customer Relationship Management system experience preferred
- Experience meeting face-to-face with customers preferred
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must comply with Cox Automotive’s drug-free workplace policy
