Job Description
Consultant designing a framework for climate-resilient labour mobility at IHRB. Focused on the intersection of climate change and labour migration, especially in Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Design and delivery of a Climate-Resilient Labour Mobility Framework for Business
- Conduct corridor research, stakeholder engagement, and outreach
- Produce risk mapping and analytical foundations for the framework
- Work in collaboration with IHRB’s Migration and Just Transition teams
- Secure pilot commitments from businesses in the Africa corridor
- Deliver final, publication-ready framework document and guidance note
Requirements:
- 7+ years working at the intersection of labour migration and climate
- Deep knowledge of African labour context and climate pressures
- Existing relationships with African policymakers or regional bodies
- Proven experience designing analytical frameworks or policy tools
- Experience engaging global brands in climate-exposed sectors
- Exceptional written and spoken English
Benefits:
