Job Description

Consultant designing a framework for climate-resilient labour mobility at IHRB. Focused on the intersection of climate change and labour migration, especially in Africa.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and delivery of a Climate-Resilient Labour Mobility Framework for Business
  • Conduct corridor research, stakeholder engagement, and outreach
  • Produce risk mapping and analytical foundations for the framework
  • Work in collaboration with IHRB’s Migration and Just Transition teams
  • Secure pilot commitments from businesses in the Africa corridor
  • Deliver final, publication-ready framework document and guidance note

Requirements:

  • 7+ years working at the intersection of labour migration and climate
  • Deep knowledge of African labour context and climate pressures
  • Existing relationships with African policymakers or regional bodies
  • Proven experience designing analytical frameworks or policy tools
  • Experience engaging global brands in climate-exposed sectors
  • Exceptional written and spoken English
