Job Description
Clinical Account Executive advancing AbbVie’s oncology medicines across a Nevada-centered territory. Building clinical partnerships and optimizing customer engagement to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution
- Maintain high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities
- Serve as strategic leader of the territory and support brand objectives and business goals for CLL and NHL oncology products
Requirements:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics
- Desire and ability to take on larger roles faster than peers
- Competitive selling skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Persistence and grit with a strong track record in challenging environments
- Personal auto or company car/truck
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements
- Regular business travel by air or car
- Healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, potentially including background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination
- Oncology experience, preferably in hematologic malignancies
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Account Management experience
- Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Healthcare industry experience, especially working with patients or consulting healthcare companies
- People management or other leadership experience
- MBA or other advanced degree
