Job Description
Clinical Consultant deploying BD Medication Systems Infusion solutions across Pacific West hospitals. Leading clinical implementations, workflow integration, customer training, and post-go-live support.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant clinical operations, products, and services
- Provide clinical leadership to BD customers implementing interoperability and connectivity products
- Support the Project Manager to ensure timely and productive implementations
- Collaborate with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors on policies, procedures, workflows, protocols, resource groups, device education, go-live, post-implementation rounds, and consulting
- Interpret basic HL7 messages and resolve failures, advancing to technical SME when appropriate
- Follow up with customers for system assessment, satisfaction, problem solving, and evaluation
- Develop recommendations to maximize customer benefit from implemented solutions
- Facilitate conference calls and customer meetings for hospital-system product implementations
- Establish long-term customer relationships
- Provide team support and product information for BD Medication Systems Infusion products
- Mentor team members on product and process competency
- Manage customer teams, gain consensus, and deliver concise, consistent communication
- Guide customer site assessment review and facilitate project design and implementation
- Provide feedback for continuous improvement of implementation methodology, tools, and services
- Install and support BD Medication Systems Infusion hardware and software solutions
- Influence customer acceptance and utilization in multi-site and sophisticated environments
- Act as a customer support resource when needed
Requirements:
- Nursing Degree
- 4-6 years of experience in health care related field
- Current active nursing license required
- Acute care hospital experience required, preferably with nursing informatics or leadership experience; Pediatric, NICU, and Oncology
- Valid driver license and at least 21 years old
- Home based position with 75-100% travel, including overnight travel
- Flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends
- Ability to work independently from home office
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; position may involve pushing, pulling, stooping, bending and lifting
- Upon hire, provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional facility-appropriate immunizations
- Specific knowledge of BD business/products highly desired
