Job Description

Clinical Specialist promoting AngioDynamics’ NanoKnife oncology products across Northern California. Providing clinical education, case coverage, technical support and customer training.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote AngioDynamics’ Oncology (NanoKnife) products through customer education
  • Provide clinical education and technical support to current and potential customers
  • Provide case coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service and product education
  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned, competitive products and disease states
  • Attend education meetings and review professional journals to maintain clinical competency
  • Provide clinical support and training for AngioDynamics’ products
  • Stay current on clinical data related to AngioDynamics’ products
  • Educate the Sales Team on clinical data, product developments, clinical benefits and patient safety
  • Explain clinical differences and patient outcomes between AngioDynamics’ and competitive products
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on product and therapy technical matters
  • Coordinate one-on-one sessions, in-service programs, seminars and outside symposiums
  • Conduct basic market development activities as needed for the assigned geography
  • Travel extensively in this field position

Requirements:

  • 5 years of clinical experience in interventional radiology, cardiology, or surgery
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff, Sales, Marketing and Global Franchise Leaders
  • Effective teaching skills with ability to translate complex instructions clearly
  • Ability to work with precision, accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and recommend changes to training documents
  • Ability to construct an effective training program
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • RT, RN, PA, CCP, RA, ARNP or similar clinical credentialing required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • BS in clinical field preferred
