Job Description
Clinical Account Specialist supporting Biosense Webster cardiac mapping and ablation procedures for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Training physicians and EP lab teams across assigned territories.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized clinical product support, technical assistance, and training to physicians and EP lab staff during procedures within an assigned territory
- Support effective use of Biosense Webster catheter systems and equipment, including the CARTO System, software modules, and RF generators
- Train customers on Biosense Webster products through technical and clinical education and in-service training
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and increase customer value
- Use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within accounts
- Increase awareness of Biosense Webster solutions and facilitate engagement with key decision-makers to drive incremental business
- Plan and schedule case support capacity
- Communicate with Sales Representatives, other Clinical Account Specialists, Field Service Engineers, and internal and external partners
- Build relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, clinical and hospital administrators, and staff
- Stay current on product Instructions for Use, best practices, technical troubleshooting, clinical literature, and new product developments
- Respond to customer, professional, and partner inquiries by email and voicemail
- Participate in diagnostic discussions and develop solutions with stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to new commercial team members
- Complete account documentation, compliance training, expense reporting, and company system updates
- Communicate business issues and opportunities to management
- Follow health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Support Specialist in Electrophysiology and Electroanatomical Mapping
- Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation, cardiac imaging, electrophysiology technology, industry developments, and market landscape
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, disease states, therapeutic approaches, and institutional developments
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, domestically and internationally
- Ability to sit for extended periods, work in hospital laboratory environments, support live patient procedures, wear protective equipment such as lead aprons, and work flexible hours to meet patient needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Valid Class B driver’s license
- Experience with highly complex technical systems and/or critical patient care environments preferred
- Experience introducing new technologies to market and working with key opinion leaders preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, relationship-building, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Self-driven ability to work independently and adapt in dynamic environments
- Detailed knowledge of the Biosense Webster product portfolio preferred
- Deep expertise in Electrophysiology products and solutions preferred
