Job Description
Clinical Trials Billing and Collections Analyst focusing on aged accounts receivable and sponsor outreach in a remote role for a cancer research organization. Collaborating on financial data reporting and management of clinical trial portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned portfolio of aged clinical trial A/R, prioritizing older aging and payment-term compliance;
- Proactively identify overdue invoices and initiate sponsor/CRO follow-up and escalation.
- Produce and interpret A/R aging outputs to support prioritization, outreach targeting, and leadership reporting.
- Document outreach activity, sponsor responses, and expected payment timing.
- Investigate unapplied or unidentified sponsor payments by obtaining remittance details.
- Compile recurring A/R and cash-application metrics for operational and financial reporting; identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with clinical trial financial accounting projects; participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; 3 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
- 3+ years related experience or 2+ years related experience with position-related post graduate degree
