Job Description
Operations Manager coordinating daily operations for CVS Health. Focusing on process improvements and quality control in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and aligns activities across different operational teams to ensure smooth execution of daily operations
- Manages staffing levels, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and efficient resource utilization
- Contributes to the achievement of business objectives and ensures the organization remains competitive in the market
- Analyzes workload patterns, forecasts resource needs, and makes recommendations for adjustments or enhancements
- Monitors operational performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement within the operations support functions through workflow analyses
- Addresses customer or client concerns, investigates operational incidents, and works with relevant stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Establishes and enforces compliance guidelines and quality control processes including implementing quality assurance programs, and driving initiatives to improve operational compliance and quality
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives and measure the impact of changes
- Facilitates effective communication within the operations support teams and with other stakeholders
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team by encouraging innovation, gathering feedback from employees, and implementing initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Oversees ongoing training to ensure all team members are fully versed and compliant within their respective roles
Requirements:
- 5-7 years work experience
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Post secondary /high school education or specialized training, i.e., technical/vocational programs
