Job Description
Commissioning Manager responsible for high voltage substation projects at GE Vernova. Overseeing testing, executing, and leading international team in energy transition efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing and executing commissioning activities of mid- to large- scale high voltage substation Projects.
- Lead Commissioning activities with an international team of Commissioning Engineers through different projects stages.
- Report to the Regional Commissioning Team Leader.
- Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are planned and carried out in compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge and minimum several years of experience in Commissioning of substations, Power Plants or complex industrial electrical systems.
- Fluent in both English and German language. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work on construction sites and optional assignments on offshore platforms.
