Job Description
Communications Intern creating digital content for Ibis Reproductive Health's advocacy campaigns. Supporting social media and key campaign moments while working remotely in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Support with developing digital content, including social media, website, and blog posts
- Support communication team around key campaign moments, including Free the Pill Day (May 9) and World Contraception Day (September 26)
Requirements:
- Strong communications skills
- Demonstrated experience developing social media content—including graphics, copy, and video content
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, InDesign, Squarespace, and/or Hootsuite a plus
- Experience working on public facing advocacy campaigns a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Collaborative workstyle with an ability to work independently after guidance is provided
- Interest in/experience working with diverse communities and populations (ex. BIPOC, LGBTQIA, etc.)
- Interest in/experience working in the reproductive health, rights, and justice space
- Experience with individual donor campaigns, social media ads, or marketing a plus
