Job Description
Communications and Marketing Lead building Beam’s AI brand awareness and sales pipeline across Australia. Owning content, PR, demand generation, events, and customer storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy and execution of all communications and marketing efforts in Australia
- Build brand awareness and drive pipeline in Australia
- Become an expert and trusted partner in the target vertical
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify opportunities
- Speak regularly with customers to understand frontline work and AI
- Plan and execute integrated Marcomms activities
- Create customer stories for websites, videos, blogs, one-pagers and social media
- Manage PR, partner and influencer marketing
- Provide sales and customer success enablement through slides, outreach sequences, training and ABM
- Drive demand generation through paid and organic channels
- Lead events and field marketing, including conferences and customer dinners
- Produce webinars, podcasts and virtual events
- Develop long-form thought leadership, including ebooks and research reports
- Create newsletters and email communications
- Identify and communicate compelling story opportunities
- Build influencer networks with membership bodies and trade press
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience with some combination of social media, content marketing, PR, events, email marketing and/or demand generation
- High level of autonomy and ownership
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to learn and use tools like HubSpot, Webflow, Figma and Customer.io
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Clear, concise, human writing tailored to different audiences
- Creativity and ability to develop new Marcomms capabilities
- Visa sponsorship may be relevant for work in Australia, as addressed in the application form
