Job Description
Consultant specializing in Red Hat Cloud Products, delivering infrastructure services in Strasbourg. Leading implementations and providing strategic IT recommendations for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements
- Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting the better methods to obtain solutions
- Implement and integrate Red Hat's open and hybrid cloud solutions including Red Hat OpenShift and other Red Hat's offerings
- Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
- Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including ticket or bug management
- Mentor and share your knowledge with customers
- Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market
- Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on infrastructural projects
- 2+ years of experience with advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker
- 2+ years of experience in IT automation with Ansible
- Experience of Gitops, ( with tools like Argocd, RHACM, Helm, git and Kustomize)
- Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, virtualization and security
- Good written and verbal communication skills in particular technical documentation
- Ability to study on your own, learn quickly, and put new ideas into practice
- Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
- Availability to travel across the region
