Job Description

Consumer Access Manager leading digital access strategy for Baptist Health, a major not-for-profit healthcare system. Driving technology-enabled consumer engagement across portals, mobile apps, kiosks, and service solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities related to the design and implementation of a system-wide Consumer Access strategy
  • Focus on consumer touch points involving access technology and consumer engagement, including the internet, patient portal, kiosks, mobile applications, and customer service solutions
  • Serve as a key liaison with clinical and operational leadership throughout the organization
  • Complete projects across various departments and specialties
  • Lead, advise on, and support large-scale enterprise-wide projects
  • Support client applications and facilitate, present, and manage team meetings
  • Advise individuals with varied technical and operational backgrounds
  • Manage vendors, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years healthcare leadership operations experience
  • Strong information technology experience preferred
  • Experience with process planning and improvement
  • Experience integrating multiple applications into a single platform
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with departmental staff, mid-level leadership, and executive leadership
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to learn new concepts/job requirements quickly
  • Extensive project leadership skills
  • Experience supporting client applications
  • Experience facilitating, presenting, and managing team meetings
  • Experience advising individuals with varied technical and operational backgrounds
  • Extensive vendor management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation experience
