Job Description
Associate Director responsible for drafting reinsurance contracts and supporting broker teams at Howden Re, a leading reinsurance broker and advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and maintain reinsurance contract documentation.
- Assist broker teams with various projects.
- Draft reinsurance contracts and related documents.
- Interpret and assess contracts for quality assurance.
- Provide technical guidance regarding reinsurance concepts.
- Participate in Request for Proposal and sales presentations.
- Promote and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and reinsurers.
- Resolve issues and review working practices.
Requirements:
- Four Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience.
- Law Degree (J.D.) helpful but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with reinsurance contracts.
- Extensive MS Word experience and expertise.
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
