Job Description

Customer Service Representative handling billing inquiries within hospital revenue operations. Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints during the day shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs day-to-day customer service activities within the hospital revenue operations
  • Assists patients in the resolution of billing issues
  • Provides detailed documentation and reports of customer complaints
  • Tracks trends of customer service encounters
  • Resolves independently or escalates issues affecting customer complaints

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
  • At least one (1) year of experience and relevant knowledge of revenue cycle functions and systems
  • Previous service/call center experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications preferred
