Job Description
Data Analyst supporting CDC public health evaluation initiatives with critical analysis and expert consultation. Collaborating on projects to improve public health outcomes in a government contracting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support a CDC public health evaluation initiative
- Analyze and evaluate public health activities
- Provide expert advice and consultation
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly
- Collaborate with high-level officials and community members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Data Sciences, Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience supporting CDC, HHS, or other federal public health agencies with program evaluation initiatives
- Experience supporting Diabetes prevention programs preferred
- Knowledge of public health research and evaluation principles
- Ability to perform complex analytical studies and interpret results
- Experience analyzing mixed-methods data
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and CDC Administrative Systems
