Job Description
Database Migration Engineer (DBA) focusing on SQL performance analysis, query optimization, and database monitoring for a global AI-driven company.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze SQL query performance used by C#.Net applications;
- Write, review, and propose improvements to SQL queries, focusing on optimization and performance;
- Perform proactive performance monitoring of applications in development environments;
- Propose improvements to data modeling aimed at scalability, efficiency, and performance;
- Carry out data loading and movement between environments using database administration tools;
- Support identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks and promote best practices for database usage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate studies (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology or related fields;
- Proven professional experience in the technology field (employment record and/or contractor);
- Experience with SQL Server; SQL Azure (Service Tier); Databricks (Cluster CI/CD);
- Strong knowledge in SQL query analysis and optimization;
- Experience with monitoring database and application performance, Query Performance Insights, Intelligent Performance;
- Knowledge in data modeling;
- Nice-to-haves: Experience with Azure Data Factory; experience or familiarity with Databricks; experience in Azure data environments.
