Job Description
Deputy Release Consultant supporting software release planning and delivery for Accenture Federal Services. Coordinating schedules, stakeholders, risks, and quality across US federal technology projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases across multiple projects
- Partner with program and project managers to ensure releases land on time, meet quality expectations, and align with broader project objectives
- Help manage release schedules and oversee multiple concurrent releases
- Maintain stakeholder alignment and keep risks or issues visible and under control
- Gain hands-on experience with version control systems, deployment automation platforms, and release scheduling software
- Communicate release schedules, milestones, and updates to stakeholders
- Identify, track, and help mitigate release-related risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality, predictable release processes
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Release Management and Program / Project Management
- 2 years of communications experience
- 2 years of experience managing or contributing to complex, multi-team projects
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Familiarity with release automation and deployment tools
- Experience with version control platforms (e.g., Git-based systems)
- Background in managing concurrent releases across large programs
- Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative software delivery environments
- US work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirement
