Job Description
Experienced antitrust and competition lawyer role at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Provide legal guidance and support compliance initiatives in a collaborative global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the provision of clear, practical antitrust guidance to business teams on commercial strategies and initiatives
- Advise on pricing, distribution arrangements, vertical relationships, and competitor interactions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional stakeholders in identifying and managing competition law risks in day-to-day operations
- Support and help drive the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Company's antitrust compliance program
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to business audiences
- Support responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations by competition authorities globally and interact with external counsel
Requirements:
- Law degree and qualification in the UK, EU (preferably Belgium or another EU Member State), or equivalent jurisdiction
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in antitrust/competition law
- Strong experience independently advising on commercial antitrust issues, including distribution, pricing, and competitor interactions
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
