Job Description

Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs advancing clinical science and supporting global operations. Driving innovation in imaging solutions and ensuring excellence in trial delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Development to secure new opportunities and expand market share
  • Advise clients on imaging strategies and ensure successful trial execution
  • Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal teams for project delivery
  • Review and edit clinical trial protocols, imaging manuals, and study documentation
  • Lead governance meetings and represent Clario at Investigator Meetings
  • Train study teams and mentor staff on imaging and scientific requirements
  • Monitor reader performance and participate in Read Monitoring Board activities
  • Drive process improvements and technology enhancements for imaging services
  • Collaborate with product development and cross-functional teams on system requirements
  • Support proposal development and client presentations for new business opportunities

Requirements:

  • MD or PhD in a scientific discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in medical imaging and clinical trials within CRO or pharma
  • Expertise in respiratory imaging, rare diseases, or pediatric conditions using MR, CT, X-ray, or Ultrasound
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations
  • Proven ability in project planning, reporting, and financial management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% and work in a hybrid environment
