Job Description

Director of Engagement managing national client partnerships for C.A. Fortune, an integrated commerce agency helping brands win at retail. Leading strategy, KPIs, executive reviews, and cross-functional growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage national top client partnerships with a focus on strategic initiatives
  • Lead strategy sessions and business reviews
  • Develop and track KPIs and provide recommendations, action items, and consultative CPG advice
  • Manage client relationships nationally across selected C.A. Fortune client partnerships and all agency pillars
  • Partner with the Sales Development team on client selling priorities and strategic approach
  • Lead 1–2 annual executive top-to-top meetings and/or business reviews for each client
  • Identify and build leads for existing client partnership expansion opportunities
  • Advise clients on channel goals, marketing strategy, and retail execution
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal account personnel across executive, retail, accounting, branding, ecommerce, sales, and finance teams
  • Manage revenue forecasts and develop annual analytics-rooted budgets with the Sales Development team
  • Develop and track partnership-success KPIs covering sales, distribution, pricing, shelving placement, promotional volume, and promotional spend
  • Establish regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Lead onboarding for new clients assigned to the desk
  • Collaborate with leadership across Sales Development, Retail, ECOM, Marketing, Finance, Support, and Sales
  • Lead cross-functional teams toward common goals
  • Develop annual corporate bonuses rooted in KPIs benefiting clients and C.A. Fortune
  • Provide clients with relevant brand/category information
  • Oversee initiatives and motivate others to execute without day-to-day involvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-10+ years CPG industry sales and category management experience
  • Strong presentation, communication and leadership skills
  • Must demonstrate sales planning, forecasting and sales execution experience
  • Aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to develop strategic plans
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients and cross-functional groups
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Problem solver with well-developed organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Confident in change management
  • Ability to read, interpret, and present data using SPINS, Nielsen, and IRI
  • Client Management and/or Agency Experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with SPINS, Nielsen, and IRI
  • Understanding of the C.A. model
