Job Description
Director of Sales leading regional growth for Fieldpiece, a global HVACR tools and test-instruments company. Managing sales teams, distributor partnerships, and market expansion across the Northeast.
Responsibilities:
- Lead regional sales strategy and execution to drive revenue, market share, and product penetration.
- Manage, coach, and develop Fieldpiece sales professionals and independent sales agency partners.
- Build strong relationships with distributor leadership, branch teams, contractors, and HVACR technicians.
- Expand product and SKU penetration throughout the distributor network.
- Analyze sales performance, market conditions, and territory opportunities and take action to accelerate growth.
- Establish clear expectations, performance measures, and accountability across the sales organization.
- Stay close to customers and the field to understand competitive activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Use product and industry knowledge to educate customers, partners, and sales teams.
- Maintain strong CRM discipline and visibility into pipeline, accounts, opportunities, and sales activity.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Service, and other teams to support customers and regional growth.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within HVACR, professional tools, test instruments, or a related industry.
- Experience leading both direct salespeople and independent sales agency partners.
- Strong experience selling through distributor networks and driving results at the branch level.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue and market share across a multi-state territory.
- Strong sales leadership, coaching, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to use sales data and market insights to identify opportunities and make sound business decisions.
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity, pipeline, and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the assigned territory.
- Residence within the assigned territory is required.
