Job Description
Director managing pharmacy accreditation compliance and development at VytlOne. Leading quality improvement initiatives and overseeing pharmacy accreditation processes across organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the development, modification, implementation, and coordination of systems and processes necessary for pharmacies to meet relevant accreditation requirements
- Responsible oversight of pharmacy accreditation compliance and renewals
- Support new accreditation initiatives as necessary
- Direct process improvements that optimize quality and maximize efficiency of pharmacy services consistent with standards of accrediting organizations
- Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of initiatives supporting quality improvement and best practices
- Monitor changes to accreditation standards and assist with updates to applicable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with standards while also encouraging operational efficiencies
- Develop and participate in presentations and consulting with internal and external teams on accreditation requirements, activities, and outcomes
- Serve as subject matter expert on accreditation and standard interpretation; educate internal and external stakeholders on standards and assist with operationalizing requirements
- Manage the accreditation process including the uploading and monitoring of ACHC and URAC applications, preparing DeskTop Review, responding to RFI within designated timelines, developing Plans of Correction, and/or Corrective Action Plans, and monitoring entire application process through the approval and subsequent renewals
- Work within organizational wide, cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams to bring each pharmacy to a state of readiness, ensuring all accreditation compliance issues are addressed and ensure ongoing compliance with all standards and Plans of Correction and/or Corrective Action Plans
- Conduct and/or oversee quarterly mock audits and gap analyses to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and track/trend issues to develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare reports, contribute, and participate in the Enterprise Quality Management Committee and/or Sub-Committees such as Medication Safety, Education and Training, and Policy and Procedures or other committees as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D., from an approved school of pharmacy and active unrestricted licensure in relevant jurisdictions of practice, MHA or MBA preferred, Board Certification Specialty Pharmacy preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience relevant to the responsibilities and duties specified
- Knowledge of policies and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy in multiple jurisdictions
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy disease states and associated medications, clinical best practices, drug indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration
- In-depth knowledge of ACHC and URAC accreditation requirements in pharmacy practice
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with proven ability to effectively manage multiple large-scale projects at once
- Ability to influence others in a dynamic and matrixed environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
- Strong meeting facilitation skills in both face-to-face and virtual situations, including the ability to make effective presentations
- Sound business and technical acumen

- Works effectively in a team environment and communicates well using virtual tools
- Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability and willingness to learn Smartsheet, Confluence, and other tools as necessary
