Job Description
District Asset Protection Manager overseeing theft and fraud mitigation strategies at The Home Depot. Collaborating with store leadership and law enforcement to drive safety and asset protection initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching, coaching, and training associates to ensure effective execution of core Asset Protection initiatives
- Driving execution of Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS) and safety initiatives
- Performing timely entry of internal theft cases into the case management system
- Building partnerships with local law enforcement
- Making hiring decisions and taking disciplinary action
- Conducting performance reviews and teaching associates on safety behaviors
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Licensure/certification to comply and requirement that varies by location
