Job Description

TI Portfolio Manager managing strategic portfolio of projects in a manufacturing setup. Ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT deliverables while improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT project and services portfolio, defining prioritization criteria and allocating resources based on business value, risk, and team capacity.
  • Lead portfolio governance: steering committees, executive status reports, stakeholder management and decision-making on starting, continuing or closing initiatives.
  • Apply agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and IT service management frameworks (ITIL) to organize workflows, manage backlogs and optimize value delivery.
  • Manage complex projects in a manufacturing context, such as MES, ERP, shop-floor integration, industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Monitor portfolio performance indicators (schedule, cost, capacity, ROI) and produce analyses and dashboards for leadership.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies and bottlenecks across projects, proposing mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate communication between business areas, IT, vendors and industrial operations, translating technical requirements into business language and vice versa.
  • Use generative AI tools to accelerate documentation, data analysis, report generation and decision support.

Requirements:

  • Advanced English (reading, writing and speaking) for work in an international corporate environment.
  • Agile methodologies: practical experience with Agile and Kanban, including backlog management and workflow control.
  • ITIL: knowledge of IT service management practices.
  • Advanced Excel: pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling and dashboard creation.
  • Generative AI: applied use of tools (e.g., AI assistants) for productivity, analysis and content generation.
  • Portfolio and complex project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or similar).
