Job Description
E-Mail Marketing Manager focusing on segmentation strategies for Mammutmarsch. Driving revenue through effective email targeting and systematic experimentation in the German market.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Segmentation
- Build and prioritize clear segments (purchase behavior, lifecycle, engagement, interests, demographics)
- Develop a structured targeting blueprint
- Define sequencing, exclusions and frequency caps
- Experimentation & Testing
- Develop hypotheses → create variants → test → analyze → iterate
- Systematic testing process across segment, content, frequency & offer
- Clean documentation & decision logic
- Campaign Planning
- Weekly and monthly planning of all campaigns & tests
- Management of conflict rules & sending logic
- Strategic timing around events, drops and campaigns
- Production & Setup
- Brief copy & design teams
- Build testable variants
- Clean setup in Klaviyo (tracking, UTMs, QA, audience logic)
- Analysis & Scaling
- Interpret results (RPR, RPU, CVR, AOV, guardrails)
- Derive concrete follow-up tests
- Roll out successful strategies to larger segments
- Build a structured content & idea database
Requirements:
- Proven track record in email/CRM marketing with revenue responsibility
- Strong experimentation & analytics mindset (you think in hypotheses, variants, signals, decisions)
- Excellent understanding of segmentation, lifecycle logic & targeting
- Confident with Klaviyo (segments, campaigns, A/B tests, QA, deliverability)
- Ability to correctly interpret metrics such as RPR, RPU, CVR, AOV, incrementality, unsubscribe rates
- Intuition for content: you recognize which message fits which segment
- Structure & systems thinking – you build processes that scale
- Clarity in briefing copy & design
