Job Description
Education expert creating realistic scenarios and evaluating AI-generated educational content. Translating educator judgment into training and evaluation data for AI systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design realistic educational scenarios and tasks based on professional experience, including lesson and unit planning, assessment and item development, grading and rubric-based evaluation, differentiation and intervention, curriculum and instructional design, IEPs and student accommodations, and student feedback and academic support
- Review and compare AI-generated educational content for accuracy, standards alignment, grade-level appropriateness, pedagogical quality, and practical classroom applicability
- Evaluate outputs against Common Core, NGSS, state standards, or discipline-specific frameworks
- Create structured examples reflecting how experienced educators approach problems and make instructional decisions
- Provide clear, detailed written feedback identifying errors, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate asynchronously with research and evaluation teams
- Apply consistent professional judgment when assessing AI-generated educational work
- Translate practical education experience, professional judgment, and day-to-day workflows into structured examples and feedback to improve AI systems
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in education or a closely related field
- Experience in K-12 teaching, higher education, curriculum development, instructional design, assessment and psychometrics, special education, tutoring and academic support, or educational technology
- Bachelor's degree in Education, a relevant subject-matter field, or a related discipline
- State teaching license or certification, National Board Certification, or advanced degree such as MEd, EdD, PhD, or a relevant master's degree preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Google Classroom, Canvas, PowerSchool or similar SIS platforms, assessment platforms, and curriculum and learning-management systems
- Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to clearly explain professional decisions, instructional reasoning, and educational best practices
- Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
- H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported
