Job Description
Engineering Manager at Unico, leading tech teams for identity verification solutions. Focusing on team growth, project delivery, and architectural contributions within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Help team members advance their careers through 1:1s, continuous feedback, performance reviews, goal setting, and the creation of individual development plans;
- Lead people with varying levels of maturity and hard skills;
- Promote value creation and business impact within the team by understanding and translating product requirements into functional requirements for the team;
- Engage the team in solving complex problems in the back-end, front-end, and mobile systems maintained by the team;
- Support the team in maintaining and continuously improving their systems, promoting architectural evolutions aligned with business needs;
- Contribute to solution architecture design, acting as a technical ambassador who asks the right questions so the team can build the right software solutions.
Requirements:
- Focus on people management;
- Previous experience leading teams;
- Knowledge of Agile methodology;
- Knowledge of backlog management;
- Knowledge of test quality (QA).
