Job Description
Enterprise Architect leading SAP S4 HANA transformation, architecture governance, and solution integration. Supporting Convatec’s global medical products and chronic-care solutions business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support enterprise architecture activities for major transformation programs, including S4 HANA and SAP Transformation
- Guide the development and management of solutions, projects, products, systems, processes, information, technologies, and shared application services
- Work with Tech Business Partners, product owners, and product managers to establish an architectural runway supporting future business requirements
- Lead process remodelling and optimization using SAP Signavio and design architecture patterns using SAP LeanIX
- Monitor the SAP solution portfolio and identify technology aging or business-alignment deficiencies
- Develop the upgrade and transformation roadmap from SAP ECC to S4 HANA
- Create “to be” and “as is” architecture deliverables for Convatec’s portfolio
- Collaborate with the PMO to ensure execution aligns with plans throughout the SAP Transformation lifecycle
- Apply enterprise architecture principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns
- Evaluate software product standards and services, including total cost of ownership, and design software configurations
- Support product managers with end-of-life decisions for services and systems
- Analyze, design, implement, and integrate SAP-based solutions within existing infrastructure and security standards
- Identify technology innovations and design solutions that meet business goals within existing and legacy systems
- Lead Privacy, Security, and AI by design
- Provide expert guidance to engineering teams and act as TDA and Solution Governance for Architecture
- Evaluate feasibility and business cases for implementation steps toward target architecture
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards, including regional regulations
- Work with system integrators and technology providers on SAP, S4 HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Analytics product roadmaps
Requirements:
- Experience in software engineering, technology design, and implementation
- Solution architecture experience in ERP, preferably SAP S4 HANA, finance and manufacturing processes and technologies within Core and S4 HANA ecosystems
- Experience with integration tools and patterns, including ESB
- Excellent understanding of architecture models such as C4
- Experience working in diverse, global, multidisciplinary, cross-functional architecture and engineering teams
- Ability to lead and manage strategically important transformation technology projects
- Knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data, AI, IoT, and data analytics
- Experience using and leveraging enterprise architecture management tools, such as LeanIX
- Understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends and their practical application to business and operating models
- Excellent knowledge of development languages such as React, JavaScript, Node.js, .NET, Python, and C#
- Understanding of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle
- Understanding of IT standards and controls
- Proven analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding and knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, including waterfall, spiral, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps
