Job Description

Enterprise Architect designing integrated wireless communications, private cellular, and physical security solutions for enterprise customers. Leading technical sales pursuits, architecture governance, and customer engagements for nationwide technology provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and document comprehensive, multi-technology enterprise architectures spanning LMR, private cellular, DAS, IBW, and physical security systems
  • Develop solution architectures, Bills of Materials, network topology diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Integrate LMR, cellular, and physical security platforms with ERP, SCADA, BMS, and cloud infrastructure
  • Evaluate legacy systems and design migration roadmaps
  • Serve as primary technical authority in enterprise sales pursuits, executive briefings, and customer workshops
  • Conduct discovery and needs assessment sessions with enterprise IT, operations, security, and facilities leaders
  • Translate business requirements into cohesive technical designs
  • Deliver solution presentations, architecture reviews, and technical proposals to technical and executive audiences
  • Support contract negotiations through technical scope definition, risk identification, and trade-off analysis
  • Partner with account executives and sales leadership on complex opportunities
  • Contribute technical content to RFP/RFI responses
  • Size, scope, and validate solutions for commercial accuracy and delivery feasibility
  • Establish architecture standards, design patterns, reference architectures, governance processes, and technical playbooks
  • Advise on OEM technology roadmaps and evaluate new portfolio solutions
  • Mentor Solution Architects, Design Engineers, Field Engineers, and Project Managers
  • Partner with Professional Services and Delivery leadership on design-to-implementation handoffs
  • Engage with OEM partners including Motorola Solutions, Ericsson, Nokia, Axis, Genetec, and Bosch
  • Represent the company at industry events, technology forums, and customer advisory boards
  • Travel approximately 25–50% for projects and customer needs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in systems integration, solutions architecture, or network engineering, with significant focus on enterprise customers
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical expertise in at least two relevant domains
  • Expertise in LMR technologies including P25, DMR, and Motorola Solutions APX/ASTRO
  • Expertise in private cellular and wireless infrastructure including CBRS, 4G LTE, 5G, DAS, small cells, and IBW
  • Expertise in physical security including IP video surveillance, VMS/PSIM, enterprise access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security operations
  • Experience designing and presenting solutions to enterprise customers at director level or above
  • Strong command of IP networking, SD-WAN, network security, and cloud integration
  • Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent architecture diagramming tools
  • Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced pre-sales environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, technical writing, and executive presentation skills
  • Preferred: experience with public safety communications, critical infrastructure environments, and FirstNet
  • Preferred: familiarity with broadband PTT platforms including ESChat, Kodiak, and AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk
  • Preferred: exposure to NFPA, NEC, TIA, and IEC standards
  • Preferred: working knowledge of NERC CIP, HIPAA, CJIS, and SOC 2 compliance frameworks
  • Preferred: active certifications such as Motorola Solutions Certified Systems Integrator, Cisco CCNP/CCDP, Genetec, BICSI RCDD, PSP, or CPP
  • Preferred: prior experience in a PE-backed or growth-stage systems integration environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 25–50% depending on project and customer needs
  • Ability to work inside and perform required physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting equipment, and maintaining computers or other equipment
