Job Description
Facilities Technician assessing and sustaining federal facilities for GoldenWolf, an architecture and engineering firm. Evaluating building systems, managing condition data, and producing technical reports.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to inventory, condition assessment, and sustainment of large facilities campuses by assessing and managing real property data
- Work with clients and team members to develop facilities repair and maintenance strategies
- Conduct comprehensive on-site visual assessments of Real Property Installed Equipment and associated facility systems and components
- Evaluate operating efficiency, capacity, and remaining life expectancy
- Use proprietary software tools on computers, iPads, or tablets to input, validate, and maintain facility condition assessment data
- Ensure data accuracy through systematic updates, validations, and detailed reporting
- Generate inventory condition reports and technical updates for facilities newly added to the client portfolio
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project goals and deadlines
- Adhere to industry and company standards
Requirements:
- Trade experience in Commercial Plumbing, HVAC, Structural, or Electrical Systems
- More than two years of previous experience
- Previous experience in commercial/government property evaluation using computerized systems
- Experience in the construction or maintenance sectors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be eligible for a government Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation)
- High school diploma required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 60% of the year, including multi-day trips throughout the United States
- Certifications in construction technologies such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, or BPI preferred
