Job Description
Field Service Engineer responsible for installing and maintaining automated packaging systems. Focusing on customer satisfaction and optimal system performance with training and troubleshooting support.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission automated packaging systems at the customer site
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and software components
- Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on equipment operation, safety procedures, and routine maintenance
- Monitor, manage, and report on spare parts usage and stock levels to ensure service readiness
- Respond promptly to technical issues and service requests, minimizing equipment downtime
- Document service activities, findings, and solutions in a clear and timely manner
- Maintain regular communication with internal teams (engineering, product support, customer service) to share insights and improve system performance
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of technical documentation, training materials, and service manuals
Requirements:
- Electrically qualified professional with over 5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electro-mechanical systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Skilled in the use of mechanical and electrical hand tools; able to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, automation, and/or packaging technology is a strong plus
- Comfortable working independently, managing your own time and tasks with minimal supervision
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with reporting tools or service software is a bonus
- Fluent in English and Czech (spoken and written)
- Based in or near the Cheb region
