Job Description

Field Service Engineer responsible for technical support of Lab Essentials products in the Netherlands. Collaborating with the Sales department and conducting installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the commissioning of our Lab Essentials ( e.g. Cubis ® high performance balances) portfolio at our customers' sites
  • Installation, qualification, maintenance and repair of our products in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industry
  • Complete professional qualification documents, test reports and certificates
  • Organize customer visits and take care of ordering and shipping spare parts and relevant test equipment
  • Collaborate with the Sales department in order to enable new opportunities

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed technical education (electronics, mechatronics or comparable education) and relevant professional experience as a service technician, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biological or chemical environment
  • Ideally, you obtain a certificate as “Vakbekwaam Persoon (VP)“ NEN 3140
  • You have first experience in the integration of peripheral devices to our laboratory solutions ( e.g. RS232, USB, TCP/IP)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Willingness to frequent travelling within the Netherlands and occasional travelling to Germany
  • You own a driving license and you are used to drive regularly
