Job Description
Field Service Representative maintaining and repairing Anton Paar high-precision analytical instruments at customer sites. Covering Northern California and the Pacific Northwest with up to 90% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site service including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instruments at customer sites within the region
- Manage inventory
- Plan trips
- Perform administrative tasks related to service functions
- Serve customers primarily in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest
- Report to the West Region Field Service Manager in Torrance, California
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments
- Ability to work independently
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools
- Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field
- Availability for frequent overnight travel (total travel up to 90%)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and passport
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- This position is not eligible for current or future work authorization or visa sponsorship
